2016 Custom builds

Bike Build, Rad Bicycles

With another riding season just around the corner, its time to showcase a  few drool worthy custom builds from the team at Outside bike and Ski in Canmore.

The words ‘cost effective’ and ‘financially viable’ don’t usually come to mind when talking about high end carbon mountain bikes, but I don’t think that really matters in the end does it?

Our good friends at Visa and Mastercard can foot the bill for now, while we get to enjoy the finished product!

Custom build….Rocky Mountain Altitude 7990909

Bike Build, Rad Bicycles, Radness

John put some long hours and lots of thought into this custom rig. More carbon on this stealth steed than you can poke a stick at (unless the stick is carbon….which it is)

Custom build…Norco Sight 7.1

Bike Build, Radness

Clean and simple..

IMG_1001

A classy 140mm travel trail bike from Outside Bike and Ski.1 x 10 , KS dropper post, tubeless wheels and some fancy purple bits!!

IMG_1003

Keeping things simple with a 28T front ring and a modified XT cassette on the back (11-42)

IMG_1004

All the extra OneUp components help keep the XT shifting smooth. 16 tooth cog and a Rad cage paired with an Ethirteen 42T climbing gear.

IMG_1006

Lesson 1 on making a bike look girly….accessorise!!

IMG_1007

North Shore Billet lets this crank  run smaller than a 30T ring with a direct mount system. No front derailleur…no worries!!

IMG_1009

Happiness is a new bicycle…
