Well….. the time has come, to prepare ourselves for the snow to come. The seasons change, and with it comes one of the best times of year to go ride, Fall. The fall offers us a short window to rip the leaf covered trails full of wicked color.
The ground is tacky, and and worked in after a summer of fun. its never too hot and not too cold. Perfect riding conditions.
I had a chance to take some shots on 3 different fall rides. we sessioned moose mtn, The Razors Edge and a G8 loop all at a time when the colors were phenominal. check out the shots from the fall sessions.
The truck loaded up at moose.
Steve ripping a T DUB corner.
Suzanne shredding.
The G8 was pretty epic once we got into the larch trees this past week.
Eric framed yellow.
A log’s eye view.
Larchy goodness.
Alasdair heading into the yellow forrest.
Ripping sweeeet corners.
Valley View.
I was so excited i popped a wheelie…….
You had to keep your eyes open for Erics hiding around corners.
Alasdair dropping into a corner.
Charging the downhills.

RAD BIKE EXTEME……OOOHHHHÂ YYYEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
The next ride that we went out and did was the razors edge. You might recognize this ride from a post earlier this year. this was my first experience on it, and, what an experience it was. the colors were out the sky was clear and tons of fun was had. The Razors Edge has definitely made it into my books as one of the best rides the bow valley has to offer, with steep tech climbs and steep , flowey tech descents. a ride i would recommend to all intermediate to advanced riders.
Here are the piks from the day.
Staring off with a picture perfect fall trail.
Alasdair and wes finding the line.
With the trail having so much rock slab on it, you had to keep your eyes open for the trail markers.
Great views were at every corner.
Picture perfect Yam view.
Seeing past the mountains.
One of the first tech sections of the trail.
Epic flow,Epic view. Alasdair letting it go on a fast section.
Picking the right way….
Ridging along.
The bikes taking a break.
Alasdair joining in on the break.
sweet.
Wes tackling a slab.
A little off camber slab action.
More Rock….. a growing trend on this trail.
Good times.
There was always plenty of different lines to choose from. This is a nice side slab to drop to sharp loose right corner.
Epic long slabs were the highlight of this ride.
The trail is not completely rock, with some amazing color to ride through.
The finishing line of the trail with an amazing back drop. Pretty hard to beat.
Go out and check this trail out before there is too much snow.
get you fall riding in, snow is a coming…..
Killer! Looks like prime conditions, I need a f*€£ing bike!!!
