I have made to to the motherland for some summer bike action to break up the long stretch of winter in Canmore. Im gonna do my best to post every awesome bike ride i go on while im here. Ill be riding only in the state of Victoria for the 6 weeks in oz but there is some super cool terrain and trails around to explore not to far from the city.
Thanks you Air Canada for the $400 in fees for the excess baggage! oh good! But at least the bikes did arrive still in their boxes on time and not on fire!
First things first, a solid day of bicycle reassembly and for my friend Callum his first look at his new Rocky Mountain Altitude 70 RSL. His daughter Ada also got her hands on a new whip! (less excited than her dad i think)
Ada getting the tools sorted (mechanic in the making)
Fluro the cat being less helpful.
Callums ultra tech back yard work shop.
           Line up the bits!
The bikes in true Christmas spirit.
Cals outta the box customisations included 70 mm Thomson stem, 30″ Chromag Bar, Custom rubber and RockShox Reverb dropper post.
We both ended up opting for a Maxxis Ardent 2.25 for the rear and a Schwalbe Hans Dampf for the front. A great combination of some fast drifty rear and grippy cornering front.
      Welcome to the team Calbot!!
          Adas Early Rider.
           Test ride goes well.
Bike even gets custom Rad sticker job!
