A bight mission from Banff!
My morning the other day in Canmore started off to s great start……Puking snow…..
This was a major bummer, not because i am not totally looking forward to slaying some Pow this winter, but because its the 2nd of October and for me…. far to early for the amount of snow i was staring at, and I still want to ride my bike.
So, we went where there was no snow.
A short drive down the 93 south and we were in Invermere ready to ride the Johnson loop and Kloosifer.
The first portion we did was the Johnson Loop.
This is a moderate trail, with minimal technical features, good for everyone to enjoy.
The only tough thing at a few points is the exposure, not ridiculous, but if you dont like heights much you may want to keep your eyes to the inside.
This trail is super fast and flowey and has epic views.
there are also some less desirable views as well.
The second portion of the ride is Kloosifer(which i believe we had done backwards)
Kloosifer is even less technical then the Johnson loop, but equally as fast and flowey.
There are even some nice berms to take advantage of on the way down(if you go the right way)
with all the flow and fun the builders in invermere have done, it makes for a good early/late season place to go rip a few mellow fun laps when the weather in your neighborhood has $h!# the bed.
Scosh ripping, shot through the grass.
