As the summer comes to a close, as does the amount of day light that exists to be able to ride in. We all are aware of the cold winter approaching and try and squeeze rides in whenever we can. A great way to add some good rides to your end of season is to do it at night. If you are like me and work pretty much all of the day light hours that exist, the only real option is to go out and get your self a sweet light.
I recently purchased Serfas’ newest offering, a 1500 lumen head lamp, to enable me to go out and shred at whatever time of day. This light retails at 400$ and is worth every penny of it. Imagine strapping your cars head light to your helmet and going for a ride……Its exactly that( maybe better depending on the year of your car) this is a great way to add some new excitement to some old trails that you may know inside and out during the day but have never experienced them at night. Burn time is 3.5hrs on high, long enough for most rides.
We went out and did a lap at the canmore nordic center and had a blast the other night. The ride was geat, full of wild life(spiders and toads) and technical difficulties.
Eric ripping by the spot light.
Me!
Orange loop in the dark.

BLurrrr
Night rides offer a totally new view!
I definitely recommend going out, buying lights, and ripping the night away.
