Australiyarhhh!! part two: You Yangs

Radness, Riding, Trails, Travel

Our first proper ride of the trip took us on an early morning adventure about 50km west of Melbourne to the You Yangs Regional Park. This little area has really come along in the last few years and now hosts a handful of DH and XC races. It has a decent range of blue and black level trails with some nice features and flow, incorporating the granite boulders that are peppered all over the park. Lots of wildlife and some pretty rad views as well make this place a good little day trip from the city. Getting there early in the morning paid of as the temperature rose quickly. Ill try and head back for some more photos but here is a little tatse!

Decent trail map helps you get around, the trails arent all together

Probably the greenest Ive ever seen it here

First little climb to the top of Boulder Drop
