Only a sharp intellect.

Who has friendlier bears?

Probably have to say Canada, they run up trees here when I scare them.

 

How many Merican bald eagles do you battle with on each bike ride in Whitefish?

ALL OF THEM!

 

 Ive heard your brother rides bikes…who’s faster?

f you know your Swedish military aircaraft, SAAB viggens are faster than SAAB Gripens. My brother is known as viggen, guess the rest. Though my brother does have to be faster, as he is my guide as I am visually impared.

Right foot

 

How many bikes do you have?

Four in the living room and two in the laundry room. I think the two outside are still there.

 

Introduce them to us,

A yeti 303 RDH for gravity, cannot remember her name as my wifes name takes precedence.
A Rocky Mtn slayer, for trails.
A classic Bianchi road bike which has been in the family since it was bought new in 1988. Still rock it all over as a daily road ride.
An old school steel DBR hardtail. (diamond back racing for those young folks) had it since high school.
Also, purchased bikes for my wife, so I guess I have a stake in those, a specialized Safire and a Specialized Dolce. They match. Her townie bike is an old davinci hardtail.

What is your favourite type of helmet to wear on a booze cruise?

Soviet tankers helmet complete with mike assembly and headphones

Dh, fast and loose

 

Last time you rode a tandem?

On my wedding day with my wife down the isle, almost ran the pastor over.

 

 

Any serious bike injuries?

All my teeth though my lip. A few concussions, some broken ribs.

SKIING

 

Do you have a Strava account?

Hell No! Strava is for those who care about their biking. I measure my ride in smiles and the souls of those who passed. Strava is destroying the soul of biking, just go ride.

 

Whats the best piece of bike technology you have adopted recently?

A guide, as in an actual person in front of me. Also, dropper post is sweet along with good lensed sunnies. Any advice from Jody is considered technology to me as well

What is your opinion of fat bikes?…no cussing 

Pretty much the same as Nordic jogging (aka. Nordic skiing), not as good as the real thing and you look funny doing it.

 

Whats on your riding playlist right now?

Ignite, various Swedish hip-hop, and ASG come to mind right now.

 

Explain Enduro in your own words,

It is kinda like strava, it turns an afternoon ride into an official competition. Kinda sucks the soul and spontaneity out of a great sport. Also a great way to sell more bikes.

 

 

How much coffee do you require daily?

Not much! I don’t handle to much coffee all that well.

 

Favourite Gary Busey movie?

It is a tie between Point Break and Under Siege

 

Favourite post ride elixir?

Caesar, with horseradish. Sometimes ice cold ULLR.

 

Some good advice you shared to a fellow ripper?

Rubber side down, always!

 

Who is cooler, you or you mum?

My mom is on knee replacement number two and still slays it on skis and bikes, so she is pretty cool.
